Read It

There a few things in life as satisfying as kicking up your feet and cracking open a new book.

First, nothing smells as delightful as a newly printed book. Have you walked through a local Chapters/Indigo store lately? It smells like the promise of knowledge.

Second, I love blissful sound when the spine of a book cracks for the very first time. I anticipate that moment. I know I am going to learn something, or be able to relate to something I have read. It almosts sounds like a knuckle cracking ever-so-softly.

Third, nothing goes with books quite like comfort and relaxation. Books are great to read in bed, at the beach, in the park on a bench, sprawled on the couch or while drinking a hot cup of tea.
