Spiderwebs

Today was my first photo outing in a while…  Actually, all summer.  I headed up to Fergus this morning to explore with Chris and Angie.

Plan A was a factory in Fergus.  We checked the perimeter of the building, and all looked well.  I even got a few shots outside.  Once we were sure it was good to go, Angie and Chris rolled under the fence.  Just as I was about to take my turn, a golf club wielding man appeared.  He talked a lot of nonsense, and asked personal questions while threatening to call 911, so police would surround us.

I’m still not sure he had anything to do with the building.  He kept talking about thefts and damages, but never once identified himself as building security.  Begs the question… What exactly was going on inside that he was guarding?  Makes me glad we never made it past the golf club wielding lunatic to find out.

So, on to Plan B…

We ended up at a wonderful little abandoned farmhouse.  Full of country charm.

And… LOCKED.  No entry point.  Yup, luck was clearly on our side.

Thankfully, this house had incredible barns.  I mean incredible.  They only problem was, they were FULL of spiders.  Spiders with bodies the size of quarters.  No joke.

Yup, the “Spider House”.  Thankfully, my arachnophobia usually stays in-check when I have a camera in my hands.

Here are a few of my favorite images…
