On Tuesday evening, I went out to shoot at a local abandoned house with a couple of friends.
It was the first time I have ever had the opportunity to explore an abandonment, and I was really unsure of how I would see things. Usually, it takes me a couple of attempts at something new, before I can actually get a feel for it.
Tuesday was different. This place just clicked with me. The light was wonderful, the weather was amazing, and for some reason my camera and I saw eye to eye.
Although we didn’t make it into the house, there was more than enough stuff to shoot on the property. The barn was absolutley amazing, and there were several sheds. There was also a shed that had been burned out, which is where I found a great deal of interest and inspiration.
Tomorrow, we are going back. Hopefully to get into the house, and to explore the property and barns too.
